Sisterloc Fierce

On April 4, 2012, I began a new journey. The journey was that of hair and transitioning into locs. As much as I love doing different styles to my hair, I had gotten over hair. It all started when I went to PR for vacation in the summer 2011. That was a little stressful in terms of what I do with my hair and avoid packing a lot of hair products and equipment. Granted, this journey had a heavy monetary investment, however, I have no regrets. My sisterlocs are versatile. Most people can't tell until they are close and then they notice the difference. Sisterloc revolution is what's up!! Love'em!!

Where has the year gone?!?!?

WOW!! In just 5 days, 2013 will be here; live and in living color. 2012 has been extremely stressful,  however, I thank God for all he's done to keep me, my friends, my family, etc. Things wasn't always peachy, things were quite ratchet as times. Mary Mary said it best "Go get it!" and that's just what everyone has been doing. My prayer is that the hurts, stress, strain, and heartaches that has taken over people lives will just quietly and peacefully go away and a new freshness takes over and uplift everyone's heart, soul, and mind!

There is a song by Jill Scott and Anthony Hamilton called So in love. I've always enjoyed the song and adapted it to the love I have for Christ and my daughter. It's amazing what God does in your life, he will allow other loves to fall into your spirit and life. Be open to the possiblities that he allows for you. Don't be stuck into a box and inflexible. That stubbornness and inflexibility will leave you alone and unhappy.
